Meet Paul Pearson, Sales Specialist at Lloyd AllRoad!
Paul has been growing his hair out for weeks with the goal of donating it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. Read on to learn more about Paul and why he chooses to support this incredible cause.
Hi Paul, tell us a bit about yourself and your role at Lloyd AllRoad!
"You couldn’t ask for a better work environment than the Lloyd AllRoad site. With a small, dedicated team all focused on the same goal—providing honest 4x4 vehicles, from quality used pickup trucks to the unique INEOS Grenadier—it’s a great place to be. Each customer brings their own story and background, making my job all the more rewarding. With agriculture at our core, the characters we meet and the experiences we have are truly one-of-a-kind. Whether we’re helping to feed young lambs or moving cattle, we do it all.
"When I’m not in the office, I spend a bit too much time training and competing in CrossFit (for better or worse!). Living in Penrith, with the beautiful Lakes right on my doorstep, allows me to take my two collies for walks in some of the most stunning parts of the country. Music is another big passion of mine, with gigs and festivals keeping my calendar full and my wallet a bit lighter!"
Can you tell us a bit about the Little Princess Trust and what inspired you to start growing your hair to donate to them?
"The Little Princess Trust offers free, real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions. I’m inspired to support this cause because I have three young nieces and close friends with little girls, all of whom have long, beautiful blonde hair. Watching them grow up as the little princesses they are motivates me to make a difference. Sadly, not every girl has the same experience, and by supporting the Little Princess Trust, I can help change that".
We hear you’ve donated your hair to the Little Princess Trust multiple times now – What’s the longest you’ve ever grown your hair to donate?
"A few years ago, a friend introduced me to this charity, and I knew right away that I wanted to support it regularly. My hair has grown long enough to reach past my shoulders, and I owe that to my dad and his great hair genetics. Thanks, Dad!"

What has the response been from your colleagues about your decision to grow your hair for charity?
"I didn’t intend to keep it a secret from my colleagues, but when I walked into work the next day with my hair chopped off, I definitely surprised a few people! Once they learned the reason behind it, everyone agreed that it was a fantastic cause".
