Home Charging is the most convenient and cost-effective way of charging you Kia EV. It’s recommended to have an electric car charging point installed at your home to do this, as it’s around 3 times faster than a three-pin plug for electric vehicles.  You will receive a message via the Kia Connect App when your EV is fully charged.

How to charge your Electric Kia at a public charging station

The Kia Charge App gives you access to more than 586, 0000 charging points across Europe, and allows you to located EV charging stations near you. It can also provide you with up-to-date information about the availability of nearby chargers. Rapid public DC chargers can charge your Kia EV from 109%-80% in just 18 minutes (Based on the Kia EV6 with a 350kWQ DC CCS Socket charger).

What is the duration of a Kia EV battery warranty?

Kia aim to maximise the financial benefits of EV driving by ensuring that their EV batteries are fully covered under the standard 7-year car warranty.

Kia offer a battery warranty that operates on a specified performance threshold, which is 70% for their standard 7-year warranty; If the car battery capacity or performance drops below this threshold, the warranty will cover the necessary repairs or replacements This means that Kia will cover any repairs or replacements if your electric car battery drops below 70% capacity within 7 years from the date of purchase.
