This year, Lloyd Kia Carlisle were delighted to have been awarded European Kia Dealer of the Year 2024. This award was given as part of the annual Kia evaluation programme for outstanding performance as one of the best Kia dealers in Europe. Various points were evaluated on the application of standards, performance and customer satisfaction in the dealership.

The Aftersales team played an integral part in achieveing this award.  We thought now would be the perfect opportunity to introduce you to the members of the team, who continue to deliver an outstanding experience to our service customers day to day.

Meet Alistair, our Aftersales Manager!

Our Aftersales Manager, Alistair, is on hand to guide you through your Kia’s servicing journey. Get to know Alistair below!

Alistair Graham - Aftersales Manager


What does a typical day at work look like?
"A typical day will include overseeing the day to day operations within the aftersales department. Having started as a technician with Lloyd Motor Group in 1993 and coming from a technical background, I still enjoy helping in the workshop and supporting the technicians with any technical issues. Other parts of my role include supporting the sales department to ensure any sold vehicles are fully prepared and ready for delivery to the customers on time. The most enjoyable part of my role is providing help and support to all staff and team members to ensure excellent customer service throughout the business."

What’s your favourite way to relax outside of work?
"Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 children. I really look forward to holidays abroad and try and get away as much as possible. I also enjoy watching most types of motorsports and travelling all over the country to take part in events."

Emma, Amy and Ellie provide customers with the exceptional Kia customer experience. From checking customers in and keeping them updated on the progress of their vehicle, their roles play a pivotal part in customer aftercare at Lloyd Kia Carlisle. Get to know the team below!

Emma Taylor - Service Advisor

What’s one thing you like about your current role?
"I really enjoy building rapport with customers, you can tell the customer appreciates you taking the time to have a chat and listen to them. It’s nice when a customer comes back in, remembers your name and asks how you have been since they last came in."

What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend?
"My weekend always has to start with parkrun.I love visiting new places and meeting likeminded people. The rest of the weekend will be filled with a coffee and cake with friends, seeing my nephew and a trail run somewhere in the Lake District. The run has to finish with a pint of lager, it’s tradition!"

Amy Huddart - Service Advisor

What does a typical day in your role look like?
"A typical day as a service advisor is having a chat with customers and checking their vehicles in, liaising with customers throughout the day with the progress of their vehicle and running through all paperwork with the customer at the end of their visit. We also take service bookings throughout the day."

What’s one thing on your bucket list that you really want to do?
"One thing on the top of my bucket list is to visit Dubai and drive a supercar."

Ellie Carter - Service Advisor

Why did you want to work for Lloyd Motor Group?
"One of the main reasons I wanted to work for Lloyd Motor Group was the number of opportunities that are available in the company. Even though Lloyd Motor Group has grown massively in size over the years, they never lost the family run business aspect so no matter where you are in the group, they will always make time to come and see everyone."

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
"If I could have any superpower, I would choose to have the ability to time travel to see what the future holds. What the world looks like and what technology has been invented such as the way we would travel."
