Kourtney Rogers, Sales Executive
Why did you want to work for Lloyd Motor Group?
“I wanted to work for the Lloyd Motor Group as I liked the idea of a small family run business. I haven’t lived in Cumbria for very long but getting settled in a long-term job was very important to me. I worked at MINI for 18 months prior to moving up the country so I knew its where I wanted to be. I was fortunate enough to be offered a position with Lloyd Motor Group and since being here, I couldn’t be happier. The Lloyd Motor Group has an incredible reputation and has been going for a long time and I am very honoured to work in the first dealership they opened up.”
What's your favourite hobby or activity outside of work?
“In my spare time, I like to catch up with my family as I live very far away so I spent a lot of time on the phone. I am also in the middle of planning my wedding, so I spend a lot of time planning the finer details and getting myself to the gym! It is currently what my life revolves around!”
Craig is our longest-standing member of the team celebrating 15 years at Lloyd Cockermouth!
Craig Carruthers, Sales Executive
What drew you to becoming a Sales Executive?
“What drew me to becoming a Sales Executive in the motor trade was the thought of working with an iconic brand and the pleasure of driving some fantastic vehicles. I’ve always been involved in retail since I was in my twenties, I’m now in my 50’s so it’s clear I love what I do. As they say, “if it ain’t broke no need to fix it”. The joy of working with the public is that no day is the same.”
What's your favourite way to relax after work?
“The way I like to relax after work is by having a moment of silence especially after you’ve spoken all day, then once I’m all zen, I enjoy great food and company by way of my partner.”
Meet the Aftersales Team!

How many years have you worked in the motor trade?
“I have worked in the motor trade since I was 18 years old so that’s 26 years now. I have just completed my fourth year here with Lloyd Motor Group.”
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
“I could not live without holidays or mini breaks. They give me something to aim towards and something to look forward to!”
Nick Allen, Assistant Service Manager
What is your favourite thing about your role?
“Being able to use years of technical knowledge gained to assist our front of house team and customer.”
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
“If I could live anywhere in the world, it would probably be a Caribbean island, not fussed which one, just a slow-paced lifestyle in the sun with crystal clear seas. Actually, scrap that! I’d live on a yacht and sail around the Caribbean.”
