Meet Reece, our brillant Senior Service Advisor at Lloyd MINI Carlisle.

Reece is the perfect example of the fantastic progression opportunities available within our Lloyd Service teams. Starting his career with us in 2021, Reece recently progressed into his new position as MINI Senior Service Advisor, overseeing daily service operations to ensure our MINI appointments run smoothly.

We caught up with him to find out how he was finding his new role so far…

Congratulations on your new role Reece, can you tell us about your Lloyd Career so far?

“Hi, I’m Reece. I joined the Lloyd team back in 2021 as a Service Advisor at our Carlisle BMW dealership. I really enjoyed my time on the desk, learning the ropes of the trade and skills essential to ensuring a smooth appointment day. In 2023 a position for a Senior Service Advisor arose at our Lloyd MINI Carlisle site, and having gained a wealth of experience I felt ready to take the next step so I applied."

How are you finding your new role so far?

“Its been great so far, i've really enjoyed having the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and challenges, and seeing how I can improve things within a new dynamic and space. I’m excited to see where my MINI Service journey will take me next.”

Talk us through a typical day in your role.

“A typical day in my role consists of arriving in the morning and prepping for the day, organising what customers we will be looking after and the best way to process the day. Then as customers arrive in the morning, I will talk them through everything we will be doing to their car, including prices as well as arranging their onward mobility where needed. Next we will monitor the jobs as they are with us, contacting customers as needed and processing invoices ready for customer collections. During all this, we make sure any customers that are waiting are looked after with coffee and biscuits supplied. Throughout the day I will also create any service plans, take phone bookings, contact customers with updates, and  contact customers that haven't been able to fill out surveys yet.”

What do you enjoy most about working for Lloyd MINI Service?

“There is always great balance between having a regular routine and every day being different, different customers to chat to, different challenges to solve, to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.”

What’s next in your training journey?


“I am currently taking part in a managers course with the BMW UK Academy. This is a yearlong intensive course that finishes in January, and hopefully will see me progress into a managerial role in the future.”

“I do target shooting every week and compete in the national circuit."
