Meet David, our new Sales Specialist at Lloyd AllRoad.
Lloyd AllRoad is your local family-owned 4x4 specialist based in Carlisle and will be home to the BRAND NEW INEOS Grenadier.
We caught up with David to get to know him better and to find out what he loves about the INEOS brand, including what attracted him to this role.
How long have you worked in the motor industry? Tell us a bit about your background.
2 days! This is my first job back in the car trade for over 10 years, since working at Audi I have been working in property for the last 10 years.
Take us through a typical day in your role.
Very early for me to answer this! Hopefully, my day consists of speaking and meeting customers, deciding on INEOS specifications with them, pricing up their new car and hopefully getting their new car ordered, or showing them our used 4x4 selection!
Why did you want to work for Lloyd Motor Group?
It’s such a well-known company in the area which is still expanding and sounds like a fantastic place to work speaking to the other members of staff, and for me, it’s been great far!

What do you love about the INEOS brand?
INEOS is the biggest company you have never heard of. They are doing their car building right, the quality, the finishes, the designs, its exactly what the market was needing. Starting off in a company from the ground up is so exciting and being here to see the brand grow will be a very exciting time.
Electric cars offer a huge opportunity for motoring. What are your thoughts on the future of electric driving?
Electric cars will be the future for most types of cars, I do think that the 4x4 group of cars will still need internal combustion to function properly for a little while longer but we will all be driving them soon.
What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?
The best advice I’ve ever been given has to be ‘what’s for you won’t pass you by’
What advice would you give to someone looking to join the motor trade?
Do it! As long as you are prepared to work hard, the rewards can be incredible.

What do you like doing in your spare time?
I spend time with my nephews, golf, walk my dad’s dog, socialising
