Lloyd Kia Take On the Kia Masterclass at Silverstone
Last week, our Lloyd Kia Sales and Marketing teams were invited to attend the Kia Masterclass 2024, a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Kia’s electric vehicles at the iconic Silverstone!
In a series of workshops, the team gained hands-on experience with the latest electric Kia models, including the new Kia EV6, the Kia EV9, and the new Kia EV3. The team had a jam-packed day expanding their expertise on features such as the Kia Charge app, energy tariffs, accessories, efficient driving techniques, EV charging and more.
During a session on the Kia EV9, the team had the opportunity to explore all of its advanced features, and were given tasks to complete against the clock. These included parallel parking the EV9 using Remote Smart Parking Assist, configuring user profiles as quickly as possible, and adjusting the EV9’s three rows of seating in a range of different configurations. They even learned how to hitch a trailer to the EV9, which has a towing capacity of up to 2,500 kg!
The team also got to see the new Kia EV3 in the flesh for the first time, getting up close and personal with its spacious cabin, sustainable materials, and smart storage solutions.
And of course, one of the highlights of the day, the team had the opportunity to drive the new Kia EV6 around Silverstone circuit! Our team members experienced firsthand the EV6's power and speed, reaching speeds of up to 115 mph. They also had the chance to be taken for a thrilling ride around the track by a professional driver trainer!
The Kia Masterclass was a fantastic opportunity for our team to further expand their knowledge of Kia's electric vehicle lineup, and provide them with the expertise to assist our customers who are looking to explore the exciting world of electric mobility.
