Lloyd Kia South Lakes is Relocating

These are exciting times at Lloyd Kia South Lakes as they prepare to relocate to a newly refurbished state-of-the-art facility at the existing Lloyd Volvo South Lakes site at Levens, Kendal.

The new building will reflect Kia’s latest brand evolution and style and will offer an impressive and welcoming environment for all aspects of vehicle ownership, and supports Lloyd Motor Group’s commitment to Kia as one of the world’s fastest emerging automotive manufacturers. The move will also see an increase in staff numbers in sales, service and parts departments as well as seeing the capacity of the service workshop increase to 13 bays and 2 MOT ramps.



Mark Smith, Head of Business for Lloyd Kia and Volvo South Lakes said:

“Since the acquisition of Rayrigg Motors and the closure of the Windermere site, we are delighted to be moving closer to the area again. The plans of the finished showroom look fantastic, and I can’t wait for our customers to see the site when it is completed.

Mark added: 

“Kia UK achieved a record-breaking year of sales in 2023, having sold 107,765 cars to UK customers, the 2^nd consecutive year Kia have achieved 100,000+ sales in the UK. The new facility will allow us the opportunity to create a unique showroom experience in which to showcase Kia’s expanding and award-winning range of vehicles.”

Once the new showroom is complete, the current Kia South Lakes site at Morecambe will close. This is due to complete this Autumn.



Sam Lloyd, Lloyd Motor Group’s Managing Director commented:
