Lloyd Bikes Team Attend Blood Bikes Cumbria Skills Event

On Sunday 16^th June 2024, our teams from Lloyd BMW Motorrad and Lloyd Honda Motorcycles teams were delighted to attend Blood Bikes Cumbria’s Skills Awareness Day!

Located at Carlisle Airport, the event offered the opportunity for attendees to practice their motorcycle skills, browse manufacturer’s show trailers, and test ride some of the latest models. There were also plenty of catering vans offering delicious ice cream and donuts to keep everyone going throughout the day, as well as live music from the Delta Geckos!



We were proud to have a selection of motorcycles on display, including the Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade and CBR 650R E-Clutch, as well as the BMW M 1000 R and M 1000 RR. We were also offering test rides throughout the day across a wide selection of the BMW Motorrad range.

There was so much to do and see throughout the event, and it was a fantastic day out for everyone. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Blood Bikes Cumbria for hosting such a fantastic event, as well as to all of you who came to chat to our team throughout the day.

It was brilliant opportunity to get like-minded bikers and local dealerships together to support the incredible work that Blood Bikes Cumbria carry out each and every day.

Blood Bikes Cumbria is a charity providing a free, out-of-hours transport service, 365 days of the year, transporting urgently needed blood, medication, samples and other medical requirements between North Cumbrian hospitals and the blood transfusion bank in the north east.
