Liam Celebrates 10 years with Lloyd Motor Group
This month, Lloyd Bodyshop Carlisle celebrates Liam Connor's brilliant ten years of service with Lloyd Motor Group.
At Lloyd, we are passionate around nurturing and supporting all of our incredible employees. We have been committed to creating workspaces where employees can learn, adapt and develop the skills needed to flourish within their chosen career paths. Many members of our teams have been with us for the duration of their working lives and we are always delighted to see staff reach these incredible milestones, like Liam.
Since joining us, Liam has continued to show a strong dedication and passion for his trade and is committed to becoming the best he can be in his practise.

Tell us about your career with Lloyd
Having been here for ten years, what do you like most about working for Lloyd Motor Group?
"Definitely the people, Lloyd is a family company who really care about their employees. Everyone is happy to help each other and there is always a good atmosphere, making every day enjoyable. Another big benefit is definitely the opportunities for career progression. Lloyd has always encouraged and supported me with my career development and I have been given some amazing opportunities over the years to progress into different areas of the business. I look forward to seeing where my Lloyd journey takes me next!".
What has been the biggest change in the motor industry since you started?
Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?
" I hope to have progressed even further in my career with Lloyd. I recently passed my Level 2 MET Technician qualification, so I'm excited to see where that can take me. Outside of work, I like to travel and want to get to Dubai and the Maldives, so hopefully I will tick them off my bucket list within the next 10 years!".

" A little bit of a guilty pleasure and I know its technically 7 people, but it would have to be S Club 7- as there aint no party like an S club party!".
Tell us 3 facts about yourself!
I enjoy holidays abroad with my wife and two kids.
I'm a little bit of a motorbike fanatic.
I stopped smoking in 2018.
