A New Role for Alan Wain
Meet Alan, our new Bodyshop Estimator at Lloyd South Lakes!
Alan has been part of our Lloyd South Lakes team for around 3 years now and was recently promoted to a brand-new position as our onsite Bodyshop Estimator.
Within this new role, Alan will be the first point of contact for our customers should they find themselves in need of a cosmetic or manufacturer approved repair, and will liaise with our network of Lloyd Bodyshop’s to collect, restore and return the vehicle to the road promptly.

Hi Alan, congratulations on your new position, can you tell us about your Lloyd career so far?
“I joined the Lloyd South Lakes BMW team back in April 2022 as our Assistant Service Manager, and after a few months I was given the opportunity to work as Workshop Controller, later progressing to Workshop Manager as a permanent position. This varied experience has help me to develop a well-rounded skill set and a good understanding of both internal and external service operations.”
What attracted you to the role of Bodyshop Estimator?
“After a few years of gaining experience back of house, I felt that I was ready for a new challenge, something to get my teeth into. I saw that an opportunity had arisen with the group for a Vehicle Damage Assessor and saw this as the perfect opportunity to bring my skill set and experience together, to provide a 5-Star customer experience for our customers.”
What are you looking forward to most about this new opportunity?
Can you explain the benefit of bring your BMW/MINI to an approved repairer such as Lloyd?
