Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Accountant to join the team at Lloyd West Cumbria.

Hours of Work: Flexible hours

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

Candidates must have the following:

• A background in the motor industry and experience using Kerridge is desirable.

Role responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of accounts and sales administrators.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts to tight reporting deadlines for our manufacturers, Kia and VW.
• Preparation of monthly payroll information.
• Reconciliation of month end control accounts and vehicle funding line.
• Vehicle Stock Checks and reconciliation.
• Budgeting.
• Supporting and supplying departmental managers with financial analysis as required.
• Other ad hoc duties as required such as debt chasing and compliance and risk analysis.

 Ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes: -

• Experienced Accountant, CIMA or ACCA qualified is desirable.
• Experience of working within the motor industry is desirable.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of CDK Kerridge would be advantageous.
• Accuracy and ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A great team player, working alongside others with integrity, positivity and respect.
• Confidentiality and discretion are a must.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
