Charging your BMW at home
All BMW electric and plug-in hybrid models come with a standard BMW charging cable, measuring approximately five metres, which can plug into any conventional 3-pin socket. BMW Charging also offers two additional charging options for your BMW electric or plug-in hybrid battery model. The Solo 3 Smart Home Charger, provided by our partner Pod Point, offers safe and intelligent charging with standard installation included in the price. Or for convenient charging wherever you are, the Flexible Charger is compatible with both domestic and industrial power sockets, offering charging speeds of up to 11kW. Your BMW electric or plug-in hybrid car can be charged with alternating current (AC), at any ^ publicly available charging station with a Type 2 connector. BMW pure electric models can additionally be charged with direct current (DC), at any* publicly available charging station with a Combined Charging System (CCS) connector.

My BMW App
Download the BMW app from the Apple or Google Play store and use your vehicle chassis number to connect it to your BMW. From there you can use the app to stay up to date on the status of your vehicle at all times, remotely lock and unlock the car, plan trips in advance and access BMW news. You can also learn how to ‘precondition’ your BMW using the My BMW App, a simple task that will allow your EV to operate at maximum efficiency, help prolong your battery and allow you a premium BMW driving experience.
