It also benefits from the latest BMW iDrive 7.0 operating system, with more computing power and useful features beamed onto the widescreen infotainment display. Space in the all-important back seats is even better than before. Aimed squarely at transporting people and families between their destinations, sitting in the rear of the 7 Series giving passengers plenty of room as they travel around. The grille is joined by slimmer headlights, a new bumper with enlarged lower air dams, taller hood and enlarged front quarter vents. Out back, there are slimmer, three-dimensional light housings connected by a tiny light strip and a redesigned bumper with wider exhaust outlet cut-outs for a more imposing stance. The 7-series is definitely the most exciting car to drive in the luxury saloon class. Combined with BMW s xDrive four-wheel drive system, the 7-series is an amazingly capable car given its 1755kg kerb weight. Body control, particularly in the Sport or Adaptive driving modes.
