We understand that keeping running costs low is important – particularly if you’re managing a fleet or use your car for business. EV9’s efficient electric powertrain attracts just 2% BIK tax until 2025. Because it can be significantly cheaper to run a car on electricity – rather than petrol or diesel – your average journey costs should be lower, too. And, fewer moving parts – than in a petrol or diesel equivalent – means servicing and maintenance costs should will also be lower. Furthermore, EV9 qualifies for 100% first-year capital allowances.

While total cost of ownership is important, we appreciate the vehicle also needs to handle your business needs. With its large capacity 99.8kWh battery, EV9 has a range of up to 349 miles*. And, EV9’s 800V architecture means it can charge from 10-80% in 24 minutes. On top of this, charging can be made even simpler thanks to Kia Charge, which offers access to 27 networks and more than 550,000 chargers across Europe with the option of preferential charging rates. With up to 378bhp available, performance is also impressive – 0-62mph takes just 5.3 seconds with the dual motor powertrain. And you’ll be able to tow, too.


 

Impressively versatile

EV9’s innovative interior means you have the option of six or seven-seat versions. The six-seat EV9 includes swivelling seats, which allow you to rotate the middle row seats and face whoever is sitting in the rear – perfect for a post-meeting debrief. Alternatively, the seats allow you to recline and rest.

Even with all six or seven seats in place, you get a large 333-litre boot. With the front four or five seats in place, that increases to a truly cavernous 828 litres. You also get up to 90-litres of additional storage in the front trunk.

Advanced technology

The EV9 is adorned with the very latest technology to make driving easy and enjoyable. You’ll immediately notice the large panoramic display includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 5.3-inch dedicated climate control, and another 12.3-inch infotainment screen. These combined with a head-up display mean information is always easily accessible. If you’re planning a particularly long journey, the new Kia EV Route Planner will automatically recommend a charging point along the route to get you to your destination as quickly and easily as possible. Naturally, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included, so you can stay connected to your contacts and your favourite navigation apps or streaming services. There’s also voice recognition, which can even be used to control media or temperature.

To keep things comfortable on the move, every EV9 gets front and second-row heated and ventilated seats. Also available is vehicle-to-load technology, so you can plug in ordinary household items and power them from EV9.

Other standard equipment includes fingerprint recognition, front and rear air conditioning systems, heated steering wheel, wireless phone charger, smart power tailgate, Highway Driving Assist 2.0 with Hands-On Detection – which makes long journeys more relaxing – and much more.

Intelligent safety features

If you’re a fleet operator, or use your car for your business, we know how inconvenient it can be to have your car off the road. The EV9 is fitted with a large suite of the latest safety technologies to help keep you safe while driving. Every EV9 comes with Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance assist, making lane changes safer. In fact, the Blind-Spot View Monitor shows a live video feed of your blindspot in the instrument panel when you indicate. When it comes to parking, front and rear sensors and a 360-degree Surround View Monitor make manoeuvres easier, while Rear-Cross Traffic Assist gives you peace of mind when reversing out of a parking bay and warns you of approaching vehicles that may be out of your line of sight.

Sustainable and responsible materials

Every EV9 uses at least 70 recycled plastic bottles – that’s part of our drive to increase the use of sustainable materials in our vehicles. Special Bioplastics are used within the dashboard and interior, while door trims make use of recycled materials. Bio PU makes up the upholstery along with recycled PET fabric. Even recycled fishing nets are used within the floor and carpets and bio paint – made from rapeseed oil - is used for finishing certain panels. With an increasing focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, you can enjoy EV9’s plush interior safe in the knowledge that it includes Kia’s 10 must-have sustainable materials.
