The Grenadier Paint Colours

Industry News

Each colour has its own story

Every Grenadier colour has been carefully chosen and inspired by the world it was built to explore. These aren't simply showroom colours designed to catch the light – they're purposeful choices that tell their own unique stories. Because on a Grenadier, even the paint serves a purpose.

Scottish White

Inspired by the famously pale complexion of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's friends braving the Scottish chill, this colour represents our no-nonsense approach to white. Brilliantly bright and refreshingly honest. Sunscreen sold separately.

Scottish White

Eldoret Blue

Named after the Kenyan highland town renowned for producing world-class endurance athletes, including INEOS ambassador Eliud Kipchoge – the first person to complete a marathon in under two hours. A colour that embodies determination and excellence.

Eldoret Blue

Magic Mushroom

Once featuring subtle pink undertones, Magic Mushroom now embraces more sophisticated steely grey tones. Named after the Psilocybe semilanceata mushroom, this colour certainly wasn't conceived in a corporate boardroom. Perfect for those who prefer to travel the path less taken.

Britannia Blue

Regal yet robust, deep and commanding. Named in honour of the INEOS Britannia sailing team, this colour demands respect. Think naval heritage and quiet confidence. Salutes optional but welcomed. Featured here as the colour of choice for our charity partner, the RNLI.

Britannia Blue

Sela Green

Named after Iceland's Sela River, part of the INEOS Six Rivers Project dedicated to restoring and protecting wild salmon habitats. Wear this rich green as a mark of outdoor expertise, or blend seamlessly into both urban and wilderness environments.

Inky Black

Every colour palette requires a definitive black – this is ours. The colour of precision engineering and quiet confidence. Favoured by those who mean business, or those who prefer to make their statement subtly.

Solid Black

"The Grenadier is built with purpose … Function over form. If it doesn't serve a function, it shouldn't influence the form."

Toby Ecuyer, Head of Design, INEOS Automotive

Shale Blue

Inspired by sedimentary rock formations shaped under pressure, Shale Blue reflects the Grenadier's engineered strength and geological resilience. A colour for explorers who think in geological time and leave conventional roads behind. Seen here with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One driver, Kimi Antonelli.

Donny Grey

Doncaster has many admirable qualities – the weather isn't typically one of them. Named after the hometown of INEOS co-founder Andy Currie, Donny Grey features subtle brown undertones. It's authentic, grounded and substantial, just like the Yorkshire town that inspired it.

Queen's Red

A tribute to British regimental traditions and Her Majesty's royal vehicle fleet, this colour carries ceremonial significance. It's also the colour of courage. Wear it with pride or as a statement. Definitely not for those who prefer to blend in.

Queens Red

Sterling Silver

A distinctly British interpretation of silver. No maintenance required, though we won't stop you if that's your preference. There's an effortless sophistication to it – calm, composed, and never overdone. This isn't the flashy chrome of attention-seekers, but the understated elegance of superior engineering built to endure.

Whichever colour you choose...

Select the colour that reflects your character. Whatever colour you choose won't stay pristine for long. Because when you're using your Grenadier as intended, it'll inevitably be coated in one colour above all others.

Mud.

Fortunately, it complements them all perfectly.
